Latest Back -In-Fashion Stint:Puff Sleeves

The popularity of the puff sleeve has waxed and waned throughout the centuries. At certain points in history, puffed sleeves were deemed the height of femininity, while at others, they were considered overkill, and best kept on costumes. Often associated with Disney princesses and Shakespearean heroines, the puffed sleeve has undergone many transformations in size and shape over the years.

The benefits of this Puff Sleeve Obviously, it allows visual focus on the move, create a slim waist, but also to girls with confidence

Puff sleeves are hot property right now: dresses, blouses, tops are all seen sporting this baby doll favourite, which has made its way onto international runways and red carpets in its latest back-in-fashion stint.

New Denim Trend:The Boyfriend Jean....

It’s “boyfriend” everything at the moment. First the cardigan, then the Blazer and now the jeans, thanks to Katie Holmes and her stylist. With the new “boyfriend jean” the shape of denim has expanded beyond the four main silhouettes (skinny, straight, boot cut and wide-leg) for 2010.

Boyfriend jeans are supposed to look baggy, worn and distressed, although some versions are less so. The style is usually rolled up at the hem and worn with heels for a final feminine touch. The look reminds me a little of when us gals wore men’s Levis 501’s in the 80’s. Baggy crotches, turned up hems and belted waistbands were so in back then. The look has been revived and updated.

The style can be adorable worn with flats or a small heel on a preteen and teenager. They seem like an arty, hip and cool expression for that age group.

This is one of the ways i choose to wear mine:)

Classic Ways Of Appying Eye-Shadow...

There are two basic ways to apply eye shadow in shape shading, "rounded" and "winged". Now you want to determine what is the best shading shape in your case. You can try applying one shading shape (rounded) to one eye and the other shading shape (winged) to the other eye (this would save you time). Then go look in the mirror and see which one looks best on you.

Experiment and try all the different shading. You may be surprised to find that several of them may look great on you (the rounded technique seems to look good on the majority of women).

If you don't have much room between the eyelid crease of your eye and your eyebrow then apply eye shadow using the winged shape (unless there is some sagging).

Rounded Eye Shadow Application
Highlighter eye shadow across the eyelid, from the lash line to slightly beyond the crease, and all the way to the eyebrow.
Medium shade eye shadow to the eyelid and smudge under the bottom eyelashes.
Accent eye shadow in the wedge at the outer corner of the eye and blend well.
Line upper and lower lashes with eyeliner pencil.

Advanced Rounded Eye Shadow Application
Highlighter eye shadow across the eyelid, from the lash line to slightly beyond the crease, and all the way to the eyebrow.
Mid tone eye shadow on inner corner of lid.
Accent eye shadow on crease and in wedge; blend all well.
Line upper and lower lashes with with eyeliner pencil.

Winged Eye Shadow Application
Highlighter eye shadow from lash line to brow.
Medium shade eye shadow color on lid.
Accent eye shadow in wedge at outer corner; blend well.
Line upper and lower lashes with eyeliner pencil.

Happy Application:)

Wearing My Denim Skirt....

Denim Skirts have been around for years and continues to be a fashion staple in many a girl's wardrobe. From full-length to little more than a large belt, styles vary enormously and provide a range of looks to wear throughout the seasons.

For the winter months, you might think a longer length skirt is the way to go - but they're really not that fashionable and full skirts have a habit of getting caught in puddles. Instead, a short denim skirt is perfect for winter with some quirky colored tights (or plain black, if you're not feeling quite so brave) and some knee-high boots. It's funky and fashionable, and you could always swap the tights for some leggings if temperatures are heading way into negative figures. A chunky jumper or even a little tee with a cute jacket over the top sets off the outfit perfectly.

For those hot summer days, the denim skirt is also your perfect companion. Looking great with a vest top, it also looks fabulous with a bikini top if you're heading down to the beach and goes with pretty much every color and pattern you can think of. Denim skirts go brilliantly with both sandals and high heels, meaning a quick change of footwear gets you ready for a night out.

When it comes to style, denim skirts have to be one of the most versatile items out there. Different dyes give them individual looks, and whether they're hemmed or cut-off gives them a whole different feel. Lots have cute details on the back pockets to liven them up, which is easy to replicate yourself with some diamante stick-ons. Something really simple like adding a beaded or western-style belt to your denim skirt can totally transform its look. Get yourself out there and choose the denim skirt that is right just for you! Take the time and effort needed to find the perfect one and believe me you will not be disappointed one bit:)
